Like many music therapists, Jennifer started with a huge mission. She wanted to help people in their pursuit of optimum health. But after running her private practice for twenty years, even with thousands of clients and loyal staff, she felt burned out and not sure if her private practice would make it. Rather than quit, Buchanan went on an intense quest to prove her private practice’s viability and identify the key components of sustainable healthcare practices. She would need everything she learned a decade later to make it through the pandemic and on to the post-covid world.
