Andrew Rossetti, PhD, MT-BC, LCAT, is the supervisor of the Music Therapy Program in Radiation Oncology at the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine within the Mount Sinai Health System. His clinical practice in medical music therapy spans all areas of oncology, both in the hospital setting and in the neonatal ICU, where he specializes in Environmental Music Therapy in fragile areas and in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress.
Dr. Rossetti is an international lecturer and has frequently been invited as a keynote speaker at conferences and universities in the United States, Asia, Europe, South America, and Canada. He is Secretary of the Executive Committee of the International Association for Music and Medicine (IAMM) and Chair of its Ethics Committee, as well as a reviewer for the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics.
Dr. Rossetti currently serves on the faculty of Montclair State University, the University of Barcelona, and ArtEZ University of the Arts.
