We invite you to our second IAMM Book Club meeting on July 19th at 12 noon (EDT) for an engaging discussion with authors Sarah Hoover and Moisès Fernández Via discussing Hoover’s newly-released “Music as Care: Artistry in the Hospital Environment,” a book providing an overview of professional musicians working within the healthcare system. This volume considers the interactions within the clinical environment between artist and patient, exploring how musical careers and artistic practices can develop safely and effectively through work in a hospital setting.
